From Richard Rider: CALL TO ACTION!
There is an important, informative San Diego city "town hall" meeting in Scripps Ranch this Wednesday, 14 October after work (details in a Carl DeMaio press release).
I suspect it's going to be something of a showdown between Councilman DeMaio's reform efforts and the public employee labor union activists. I anticipate that the labor folks hope to pack the meeting. We need to do the same. PLEASE join me for that meeting. And come early to grab a seat (very important) -- the closer to the front, the better.
DeMaio has several such meetings scheduled, but this first one will see if we can match the labor union turnout. Seldom has an issue been more clear -- the government labor union members vs. everyone else. For more information visit www.CleanUpCityHall.com
