In light of the fact that no one has thus far declared themselves a CA LP US Senate candidate coupled with the fact that the LP needs statewide candidates and the fact that, as a previous US Senate candidate, I have the basic outline and even some material at hand, I have decided to seek the LPCA nomination to run for US Senate in 2010. Barbara Boxer is up for re-election and there are numerous Republicans seeking that nomination. If the LPCA has a contested race, so be it, all the better, as Ted likes to say.
Meanwhile, since it is a strict policy of any of my campaigns for elected office never to borrow money for a campaign, I must begin by asking you to help out by contributing what you can and passing the word onto others so the LP will have a visible and even successful US Senate Campaign in CA in 2010. Much can be done with volunteers and using the e-world we now live in but there is a certain amount of unavoidable expense involved in any political campaign. It is up to the rank and file voters and members of the LP to do their part in supporting some or all of the LP candidates. I am counting on your support in time and/or funding a coordinated attack on the statist collectivists seeking to destroy CA and the United States.
`We have a golden opportunity to capitalize - as good capitalists should - on the 9-12 Project, the Tea Party movement and all the other objections of the people to the aims of big governmentalists. You and I and the other LP candidates can work together to make 2010 the year of the Libertarians.
Are you ready?
Liberty,
